Why Naturopathic Medicine
Growing up in Peru, I was surrounded by a family that deeply valued natural medicine and nutrition. This early exposure sparked my lifelong interest in alternative healthcare methods, which I have always sought out for myself. My initial journey into medical school lasted a year, but it quickly became clear that the conventional approach didn’t align with my vision of holistic healing. I explored options in Peru to study alternative medicine but found none. My determination led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree, which was the first step toward my true calling—becoming a naturopathic doctor. After being diagnosed with PCOS and only offered birth control pills by my conventional doctor, I successfully rebalanced my hormones under naturopathic care. This experience fueled my decision to focus my studies on hormone health. My passion for helping people with their health concerns drives me to show them the transformative power of a holistic approach to wellness.
Treatment Philosophy
My naturopathic treatment philosophy is grounded in whole-body, root-cause medicine, with a strong emphasis on nutrition and lifestyle. I have a special interest in hormone health—for both men and women—supporting patients through all stages of life, including perimenopause, menopause, and andropause. I offer individualized care that may include bio-identical hormone therapies and nutraceutical support. Every patient is unique, and I meet each person where they are in their health journey, creating a tailored plan that reflects their specific needs and goals. As a bilingual clinician fluent in English and Spanish, I’m committed to building a supportive, collaborative environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their care.
