Yoga Nidra and Stress Herbs

Calm from the Inside Out 

Join Dr. Sarah Jeffrey, ND, of Aya Naturopathic Medicine to learn about herbs for stress management.  We’ll begin with a look at the science of stress and how it impacts the nervous system, followed by an introduction to calming herbs you can see, smell, and taste in various forms.

Next, you’ll be guided through the concept of a “plant sadhana”—a personal practice of working closely with one plant to build connection and receive its support more deeply. You’ll receive a worksheet with ideas and prompts to help you choose and begin your own plant journey.

We’ll close with a guided Yoga Nidra practice, a deeply restful meditation that promotes nervous system regulation and inner clarity. During this practice, you’ll be invited to connect inward and discover which plant ally is calling to you.
